LAST WEEK'S ROUND UP: Northern dressed business ranged from 
$177 to $183, mostly $182, generally $1 higher than the prior 
week's weighted average basis Nebraska. Southern live deals 
had a full range of $114 to $115, mostly $115, steady to $1 
higher than the prior week's weighted averages. According to 
the Friday afternoon Mandatory reports weekly trade volumes 
were as follows: KS 10,941; NE 28,057; TX 7,007; CO Not 
available due to Confidentiality; IA 24,994.

DTN MORNING COMMENTS:  The country is typically quiet this 
Monday morning with bids and asking prices not established as 
of yet. Significant trade volume will likely be delayed until 
the second half of the week. Beef cutouts are expected to be 
lower with generally light box movement. 

NOTE: Tyson Foods Inc. is saying that their plant in Holcomb, 
Kansas that was damaged by a fire in August will resume 
operations next month, as the reconstruction of the facility 
is near completion. Efforts to resume harvest operations will 
begin the first week of December with plans for the plant to 
be fully operational by the first week of January. 

For the week ending November 09, 2019, Imported Beef Passed for 
Entry in the U.S. totaled 34,977, 93.79% of the previous week 
and 98.50% of the prior 4-week average.
